UBU: Art from scrap at Domotel Les Lazaristes

Domotel Les Lazaristes hotel in Thessaloniki aspires to keep up with artistic aesthetics encouraging at the same time Green Initiative with one more action. "Art is everywhere around us as long as we can discover it". Thereupon the hotel, first in the city of Thessaloniki, hosts in the lobby, the rooms and the suites of Domotel Les Lazaristes, art objects by UBU collection (Used But Useful).

UBU has been created by a different idea, an inspiration for creating art objects from industrial recyclable metals. Having all required experience, Sofia Neonaki makes the selection of metals and following artists – graduates of the School of Fine Arts, create objects converting metals into real pieces of art. Materials such as aluminium and copper have been transformed into art and handy objects for decoration. Guests of Domotel Les Lazaristes can, if they wish to, acquire them from the reception of the hotel but also through the e-shop of Domotel website and become UBU collectors.( www.ubu.gr )
