The municipality of Stavroupoli

The municipality of Stavroupoli is at the northern west side of Thessaloniki’s urban agglomeration. Along with municipalities of Ampelokipoi, Eletherio Kordelio, Evosmos, Menemeni, Neapoli, Polichni and Sykies compose all together the western district of the city. Its total extension is 3.521 acres, while its population, according to the 2001 census, is 41.878 inhabitants.
