The former Pavlos Melas camp

The 385 acres former Pavlos Melas camp is located a few meters away from Domotel Les Lazaristes and constitutes the field of one of the biggest actions for development in Greece. The visitor has today the possibility to see ottoman buildings that have been declared as preserved, a building that has been transferred on railway tracks to open up Lagada street and learn the history of a place that had been an area of sacrifice in the name of the country for fighters of the anti-Nazi struggle during occupation.
