Aristotelous Square

When after 1917 the city authorities called the famous French architect – city planner – archeologist Hernest Hebrard to plan the new Thessaloniki, he dreamed of a big square as those we see in large European capital cities. Aristotelous square is a long charming walk between historic buildings and architectural masterpieces that combine the contradictory history of a city of the elite that became symbol of the world of labour.
